Villa Kolibri is a brand new villa located just outside Kokkino Chorio in Crete.
It offers stunning views – from Lefka Ori (White mountains), across Souda Bay and to the open sea of Crete.
The villa has extensive outdoor areas and amenities, including a jacuzzi and heated infinity pool overlooking Souda Bay.
The outdoor kitchen and living area allows you to make the most of the warm Cretan nights as you relax, dine and watch the dramatic sunsets.
The living room and kitchen open fully to the outdoor areas and the 4 double bedrooms with ensuites offer stunning views and direct access to the front terrace.
Villa Kolibri is ideally located – offering quiet seclusion and the chance to relax and unwind, but is also near to many activities – Koutalas beach is a short 10min walk, and offers great swimming and snorkelling.
The historic Kokkino Chorio village, with a mini market, cafe and taverna is a 10-15min walk.
Within a 10-15min drive are the villages of Plaka (nearest supermarket and restaurants), Almyrida and Kalyves (seaside towns with beaches and many tavernas).
The villa, is 35km from Chania International airport, and 28km from the old Venetian port town of Chania.

Swimming Pool
The 13-metre infinity pool offers amazing views over Souda Bay.
The terrace area, has a large outdoor table, comfortable couches with space for sun loungers.
The pool can be heated if required – at an additional charge of 60 euro per day.

Outdoor kitchen and dining
The outdoor kitchen area provides a fridge, sink and work spaces, alongside a 5 Burner gas BBQ.
The villa also has a quality music system, with Q Accoustic and Kef speakers in 2 zones – one inside, and another for the terrace/pool area.
Jacuzzi
The 4 person jacuzzi offers somewhere to relax and unwind, and enjoy the remarkable views.

Sunken seating and fire-pit
The sunken seating area offers a quiet place to relax in the evening, while enjoying the fire-pit and the night stars.
Bedrooms
All bedrooms feature an ensuite bathroom, and direct access to the outdoor terrace. They also have air-conditioning and a smart TV and safe.

Villa Kolibri was truly remarkable.
The views were phenomenal and watching the stunning sunset while sipping wine in the jacuzzi must be one of the highlights of our holiday. The infinity pool was lovely and kept beautifully clean and well maintained throughout our stay. The villa offered so much, from a modern sound system, to wonderful areas to relax and a real hit with our adult children was the outdoor games box.
We could have stayed in the villa all holiday but we combined relaxing periods at the villa with exciting exploration of Crete. There is so much available close by from stunning beaches to wonderful restaurants to history on our doorstep with local well preserved Roman remains.
Communication before our stay with Mark was excellent and his man on the island, Leonidas, was always on hand if we needed anything and gave us some great tips for the island. I can not recommend Villa Kolibri highly enough. It was all we had hoped for and more.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. Even though we arrived quite late in the evening, we were warmly greeted and shown around the house. It looked beautiful straight away – bright, stylish and especially stunning in the evening with the pool lighting.
The location and surroundings are also fantastic. We went jogging in the area, walked down to the sea and enjoyed some amazing sunsets.
The service throughout our stay was exceptional. The house was even cleaned for us during the week, and we were welcomed with a lovely fruit platter. When we arrived late on our first evening, they even contacted a restaurant for us so that we could still get something to eat, which we really appreciated.
Check-out was also very flexible and uncomplicated. Overall, we had a fantastic experience, felt very well looked after and would definitely recommend this place. We would happily come back!
A beautifully designed, high-quality property. The bedrooms were bright, simple and tastefully furnished, with comfortable beds and lovely bed linen. The bathrooms were equally stylish and, above all, exceptionally clean. Highlights were the pool, the fantastic sound system and, of course, the unbeatable views with truly spectacular sunsets.
The location is wonderfully peaceful and away from the main tourist areas, surrounded by hillsides with grazing goats and their bells, which sometimes gave the place an almost Alpine feel. There are also some lovely little towns nearby with good and affordable places to eat.
Communication with the host was excellent. He checked in with us proactively to make sure everything was fine and always responded immediately to our messages. We also really appreciated his flexibility, especially in making an earlier check-in possible for us.
Overall, a very special place where we felt completely at home. We would highly recommend it.
